English is a linguistically rich language that holds significant value in global communication. While formal education typically covers reading and writing, speaking the language often requires substantial practice, which is frequently overlooked in traditional curricula.

Effective spoken English proficiency is dependent on a robust vocabulary and a good grasp of grammar, both of which are generally introduced during schooling. However, learners often face challenges when it comes to practical speech practice. This reluctance to engage in conversation stems from a fear of making mistakes and concerns about how they may be perceived by others.

The stigma attached to speaking imperfectly can inhibit the learning process, discouraging individuals from using the language publicly. In response to this barrier of social anxiety, we have developed a mobile application compatible with iPhones and iPads.

The app comprises three key sections: one focusing on vocabulary meanings, another dedicated to spelling, and the third aimed at facilitating practice in spoken English through technology.

The methodology employed in the spoken English section includes:

1. Providing short descriptions, typically consisting of 5 to 10 lines, for learners to memorize and practice sequentially on their mobile device.
2. Encouraging users to recite the lines verbatim, ensuring precise alignment with what has been read.
3. Offering a hints option that presents an outline of the sentence, fostering the ability to create mental frameworks for real-life scenarios where learners must organize thoughts succinctly.
4. Indicating success visually; when a correct sentence is articulated, the progress bar turns green and advances to the next line.
5. Prompting further attempts if a given sentence is spoken incorrectly, as the bar shifts to red and presents an option to retry using a recording feature.

This structured approach aims to enhance spoken language proficiency through repeated practice in a supportive environment. The app structure facilitates an engaging learning experience tailored for those eager to improve their spoken English skills.
